What personal information do you collect?

We do not collect personal information from you unless you voluntarily provide it to us, such as when you provide your email address when registering your interest for the website, or providing your name and email address when saving your fantasy frontbench. When you save your frontbench, we also collect your frontbench selection i.e. the politicians you have selected for each of the cabinet positions and the IP host address for analystics purposes.

Non-personal or Aggregate Information that we collect:

We may collect non-personally identifiable information, such as IP host address, pages viewed, browser type, duration and frequency of visits or other data, and may aggregate any information collected in a manner which does not identify any individual (“Aggregate Information”). Aggregate Information obtained in connection with the Site may be intermingled with and used by us in conjunction with information obtained through sources other than the Site, including both offline and online sources. Aggregate Information may be shared by us with third parties by allowing them to link to and collect data from the Site. This data will be used for their benefit and for ours, for marketing advertising or other purposes, including analysis of the Site for purposes of improving your experience with the Site and academic publication.


As you use the Internet, a trail of electronic information is left at each website you visit. This information, which is sometimes referred to as “clickstream data,” can be collected and stored by a website’s server. If you are interested in volunteering on the project and apply to do so via the Volunteer form available in the footer of the Site, the personal information voluntarily provided by you will be collected and processed. This information includes but is not limited to your name, your email address, whether you are over 18 years of age, and any further pieces of personal information you choose to disclose via the free-text field with regard to the reasons as to why you wish to volunteer on the project. Such personal data will be used by us to monitor requests for volunteering, assist you with any queries you might have regarding your volunteering application and ask you about your experience of applying to volunteer with us as well as to send to send you communications related to the status of your application and the project.
